Hi, I’m Ayla Prince — a 25-year-old self-taught artist. I was born in Norway, and grew up between the USA and Brazil, which means I’ve seen a lot of different skies, colors, and ways of living.

I paint with both oils and acrylics, and I’ve never been able to stick to just one style — there’s just too much that inspires me. But no matter what I paint, I always hold onto a touch of realism. There’s something incredibly rewarding about bringing an image to life so vividly that it almost feels real — like I’ve frozen a moment in time and made it breathe again.

On a Deeper Level…
Growing up, I moved around a lot. I didn’t always speak the language where I was living, and most of my schooling happened online. So, people weren’t always around — but drawing always was. It became my comfort zone, my little world.

When the pandemic hit, I picked up a paintbrush for the first time and never really put it down. It was around that time, I made the decision to step away from a TikTok career with over 4.3 million followers — a chapter I’ll always be grateful for. It taught me so much about creativity, connection, and finding my voice. But I realized that stage of my life had passed, and it was time to move toward my passion of art.

I learned by doing, messing up, trying again — spending hours, upon hours painting when I could barely even brush my teeth. Those quiet moments made me who I am.

Now, painting isn’t just something I do — it’s how I connect, heal, and share the things I see. It’s my reminder that beauty can come from isolation, and that there is color on the other side of the canvas.
